down to the smallest detail
Dear
future flower arranger
Like
you, there are 1000's of people searching for the secrets for how to
design their own wedding flowers and how to make them look
professionally done.
- They want to know how to make
boutonnieres, corsages, prayer book/Bible bouquets, wrist corsages,
flower girl baskets, floral hair pieces, posies, cake toppers, and pew
decorating.
- They want to know how to creat specific
types of bouquets such as a hand-tied bouquet, tussie-mussie, cascading
bouquet, nosegay, candy bouquet, round bouquet, crescent bouquet,
biedermeir, and an arm bouquet.
If you
would like to ....
- cut your wedding flower costs in half or
more
- design your own wedding flowers so they
look professionally done
- give your wedding your own personal touch
and make it one to remember
- choose the exact flowers you want so you
know you'll get the colors you want
- create your wedding flowers exactly how
you have a picture of them in your mind (without having to trust
someone
else's interpretation of your idea)
- help out family and friends on their
special occasions
- make up other flower creations for other
occasions in your life such as special birthdays, anniversaries,
graduations, etc.
- work together with weding planners to

wedding flowers with the clearest step by step directions for beginners
on the internet.
Are
you like many of the budget minded brides that I talk to who want to
learn how to make bridal bouquets but are afraid to take
the plunge? Are you afraid that you won't be able to arrange
your wedding flowers so they look professionally done?
With
thorough, clear, step by step instructions (with pictures for every step) that won't be a problem.
There
are so many websites that show you how to make bridal bouquets,
how to make boutonnieres, how to make wrist corages, etc., but they all
skip some steps or
assume you have some knowledge of
- how
to wire or tape flowers properly,
- how
to treat your flowers properly (so they are not all limp the morning of
your special day),
- what
flowers are available when,
- what
angle to insert the flowers.
So, if
you are completely new to wedding floral design, you need to know all
the basics. You want a thorough understanding of the whole
process from start to finish before you begin.
You
don't want to wake up the morning of your wedding and find that all
your flowers have gone limp or crooked, or pointing in the wrong
direction.
Learn Basic Floristry Techniques to Make
Your
Own Wedding Flowers
Hi, my name is Nadine Visscher
and I have been arranging flowers for over 15 years. I
married a commercial cut flower grower so I naturally had to learn how
to arrange flowers. I always had cut flowers available to me,
so I wanted to learn how to arrange them so they would look attractive.
I didn't want to just drop them into a vase and change their
water every couple of days - I wanted to lean how
to arrange them beautifully, just like you see in books and magazines.
I
signed up for a beginner course at the college and took the plunge.
At first it was difficult for me - my first arrangement took
me over 2 hours to make! You see, I'm a perfectionist and
wanted it to be absolutely perfect. Not a flower out of
place, not a leaf out of line. When I took a look at my
arrangement after the first hour, it looked so stiff, so formal, so
rigid, that it was unattractive. You could see my tension in
the flowers.
It was
time to relax, back off, and allow my creativity to soften it.
Once I relaxed, I really enjoyed it and it started to be fun.
After the second hour of my first class, I was pleased with
the results.
The
second class I went to was an entirely different project with different
flowers, but I wasn't as worried as I was at my first class.
The second time around I was more confident and therefore had
more fun doing it. Also, because I was working with
inexpensive flowers, I wasn't worried about blowing my budget
and making a complete mess with very expensive flowers such as orchids
or lilies.
Afler
completing the beginner's course, I took other courses on floral
design. The one I enjoyed the most was the course on
how to make bridal bouquets and other wedding flowers. This
is because it taught me the
skills to make corsages and boutonnieres at the drop of the hat
whenever they were needed. I also started designing flowers
for weddings for people who knew that I took the course.
I
would show them the different styles of bouquets they could choose from
and we would discuss what types of flowers they could use (which
flowers were available during that season). Then we would
need to make a count of how many corsages and boutonnieres were needed,
etc. There were a lot of things to keep track of and a lot of
decisions to be made, but it was a lot of fun.
It
gave me a real sense of accomplishment whenever I looked at the
finished product.
I have
put together an ebook that has everything in it that you need to create
beautiful "do it yourself" wedding flowers, with the beginner in mind.
Here
is how The
Beginner's Guide to Wedding Flowers has helped

Wow! I am
very happy I discovered
your ebook on preparing the flowers for my daughter's wedding.
With the economy crunch, it's great to find a way to save a
significant amount, when it seems all the costs are spiraling beyond
our budget. I was especially excited to see directions for
the hand-tied bouquets and the wrist corsages with the pins giving the
finished effect. These will be perfect for showcasing my
daughter's taste for the exotic calla lilies. Thank you so
much!

create -

Cascade Bouquet
Hair Comb

Corsage
Crescent Bouquet
According
to
statistics from The Wedding Report, the average wedding in America has
a price tag of just over $2,000.00. Let's look at how the
money
was spent.
Boutonnieres/Corsages $169.00
Bridal
Bouquet
$146.00
Bridesmaid Bouquets
$232.00
Ceremony
Flowers
$428.00
Flower
Girl
Flowers
$48.00
Reception
Flowers
$1,010.00
$2,033.00
These
are average florist prices for -
bridal
bouquet $150.00 - $200.00
bridesmaid's bouquet
$50.00 - $75.00
rose boutonniere
$10.00
fancy corsage
$20.00
wrist
corsage $25.00
So
if you would get your wedding done by a florist and you choose very
cheap
flowers and you need -
1
bridal bouquet $150.00
2
bridesmaid's bouquets 2 x
$50.00
5
boutonnieres 5 x $10.00
2 fancy corsages
2 x $20.00
The
cost will be
$340.00
This low
estimate is for a very
bare bones wedding. It doesn't
include boutonnieres for the pastor and the ushers, flowers
for a flower girl or ringbearer, the guest book, a cake topper, the
guestbook table, or even cheap bud vases or arrangements for the
tables. This estimate includes only the absolute essentials.
You
could make
your own bridal bouquet for $35.00 - $40.00 and your bridesmaid
bouquets for even less than that ($25.00 - $30.00).
Boutonnieres
by no means will cost you $10.00 to make. Depending on the
flowers you choose, you should be able to make them for under $3.00
each. A fancy corsage should cost you no more than $5.00 -
$7.00
to make. Now let's look at our example of a wedding using the
"do
it yourself" prices -
1
bridal bouquet $40.00
2
bridesmaid's bouquets 2 x
$30.00
5
boutonnieres 5 x $3.00
2 fancy corsages
2 x $7.00
The
cost will be
$129.00
That
cuts your cost to less than half!
For
a limited
time you can download "THE BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO WEDDING FLOWERS" for
creating your own bridal bouquets for the price of a "florist
boutonniere" and a fancy "florist corsage", $29.95, and have it dowloaded in a pdf
